Job summary/ Job purpose/ Role Intent:
To sell and manage the distribution of communication products and services (Airtime, SIM Cards, 
Mobile Financial Services & Devices) to resellers and the public within the assigned territory. The role 
needs to identify and facilitate optimisation of opportunities to drive sales as maximally and as 
efficiently as possible within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales of Airtime: Direct engagement with customers.
2. Gross Additions: Connect new and active customers to the network.
3. Money Financial Services: Ensure 90% of all shop walk-in customers are registered on MFS
4. Customer centricity focus in line with the brand: Agents to be trained on how to serve a customer 
eg start engagement with and end with a smile. Standardized approach to customer engagement
5. Compliance to internal process: Daily reconciliation of books/sales reports and 
alignment/compliance with finance processes.
6. Ensure 100% participation of all agents to product training and quiz participation
7. Achieve the Sales (Revenue) targets of the Territory – both Mobile & MFS
8. Achieve Customer Base targets via acquisition drives 
9. Drive Channel Specific Agenda in line with Company targets – ASOs, SSOs, Agencies.
10. Ensure customer expectations regarding standard of services & product knowledge are met, both 
in Stores & in Partners stores
11. Monitor the activities of competition and to prepare counter action plans.
12. Prepare and submit reports as required. 
Deliverable for this role
• Sales targets - Delivering assigned sales targets on revenues, airtime, gross additions, data and 
• Visibility - ensuring outlets, trade and general market visibility.
• Availability - ensuring availability of products & services within the markets/areas. 
• Reports - sharing reports as required.
Qualifications- Academic and Professional Experience 
● Higher Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
● 2 - 3 years’ experience in sales and distribution role in Telco/FMCG
● Customer focus
